Indian Union Education Minister at high-level ministerial meeting convened by UNESCO  said that our country is the largest democratic educational ecosystem in the world and has more than 34 crore children studying which accounts for more than the entire population of many of the countries.
He further added that we have has 1.1 lakh teachers, and there are 10.5 lakh schools, 42,000 colleges and 1,043 universities. He also highlighted about the launching of  PM eVidya scheme.
He further added that India believes in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is a family) and if need arises it can even set school curriculum in Africa, in the Caribbean, in Asia, with our brothers and sisters on the same high standards as our Indian schools are.
