Technical Intern Training Program (TITP ) was a initiative taken under memorandum cooperation signed between India and Japan.
This opened new dimension in fields of skill development and job opportunities abroad. This is wonderful initiative of govt in which candidates domain, life, technical skills are shaped , communication , cultural skills are polished to make them fit in the requirements of employers.
But question lies on how many students were we able to get skilled to go abroad.
The numbers are heartbreaking, not more than 100 students have gone so far in 4 years.
Such initiatives should be encouraged and focus of skilling centres should be train youths as per requirements of industry. This can really be life changing opportunities for youth of our country.
Govt should come up with more and more such initiatives.
