National Education Policy with regards 12th pass candidates in India

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is the first comprehensive policy for the education sector in India since 1986. It aims to provide quality education to all students, regardless of their socio-economic background.

For 12th pass candidates, the NEP 2020 has several provisions. It has proposed the introduction of a four-year undergraduate program, which will provide students with the opportunity to pursue a multidisciplinary approach to learning. This will enable them to gain a holistic understanding of their chosen field of study.

The NEP 2020 also proposes the introduction of a National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct entrance examinations for higher education. This will ensure that students from all backgrounds have equal access to higher education opportunities.

The NEP 2020 also proposes the introduction of a National Scholarship Scheme to provide financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections. This will help them pursue higher education without any financial burden.

The NEP 2020 also proposes the introduction of a National Curriculum Framework (NCF) to ensure that the curriculum is updated and relevant to the changing needs of the society. This will help students gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the 21st century.

Finally, the NEP 2020 also proposes the introduction of a National Accreditation Framework (NAF) to ensure that educational institutions are held to the highest standards of quality. This will ensure that students receive quality education and are prepared for the future.
