Skills development minister Mahendra Nath Pandey has proposed to make amendments in the apprentice’s Act, 1961so as to enhance apprenticeship opportunities for the youth of our country.
He said that the department of higher education has proposed to have a modified National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) for the period from 2021-2022 to 2025-26. He further added that we aim at including apprenticeship training of graduate, technician, and degree apprentices in the revised scheme.
